BOB DYLAN: THE TIMES THEY ARE CHANGING.

Spartacus was a Thracian gladiator who led a slave uprising against the Roman Republic in the Third Servile War. He is considered one of the most famous figures in Roman history and his story has been the subject of numerous books, films, and television series. Spartacus and his followers waged a series of successful battles against the Roman army before ultimately being defeated. Despite his defeat, Spartacus has become a symbol of resistance against oppression and tyranny.

Jesus of Nazareth, on the other hand, was a Jewish preacher and religious leader who was crucified by the Roman authorities in Jerusalem around 30 AD. Christians believe that Jesus was crucified for the sins of humanity and that his death and resurrection offer salvation and eternal life.

While both Spartacus and Jesus were crucified by the Romans, their reasons for being crucified and their legacies are vastly different. Spartacus was a rebel leader fighting for freedom from oppression, while Jesus was a religious figure whose crucifixion and resurrection are central to the Christian faith.
